The Stax Museum of American Soul Music is located in the heart of Soulsville USA in Memphis, Tennessee, just minutes from its numerous other attractions such as world-famous Beale Street, Elvis Presley's Graceland, the Smithsonian Rock 'N Soul Museum, Sun Studios, The Peabody Hotel, and the Cooper-Young and Overton Square entertainment districts.

The Stax Museum welcomes individuals and groups, and is available for numerous types of private parties and events.

April-October
Monday-Saturday: 10 am–5 pm
Sunday: 1 pm–5 pm

November-March
Closed Mondays
Tuesday-Saturday: 10 am–5 pm
Sunday: 1 pm–5 pm

SATELLITE RECORD & GIFT SHOP
Open Tuesday through Sunday during Museum hours.
Museum Admission not required.

ITEMS NOT ALLOWED
Parcels, umbrellas, backpacks, cameras, pets, and audio/visual devices.

GENERAL ADMISSION
$12 Adults
$11 Seniors 62 +, Active Military, and Students with proper ID
$9 Children ages 9-12 with Adult Paid Admission
Free: Stax Museum Members, Children 8 and under with Paid Adult or Senior Admission
Every Tuesday 1:00pm – 5:00 pm free admission to Shelby County residents with proof of residency. Not applicable for group tours and operators of 5 or more, and not valid during holidays and special events. Children 16 and under must be accompanied by adults.

$10.50 Adults
$9.50 Seniors 62+, Active Military and Students with Proper ID
$7.50 Children (ages 9-12) with paid Adult OR Senior Admission
Free: Tour Bus Drivers with Paid Group Admission, Children under 3, One (1) Free Admission for every 15 Paid
